The most common form of enjoying retirement living occupancy in Australia is a 49-year lease. This lease provides you with similar rights as a freehold title. There’s also the significant benefit of no stamp duty being payable on your new home. The Victorian Retirement Villages Act (1986) ensures your rights are protected.
Residents are aged 55 years and over and may be in full or part-time employment or no longer in paid work. St. Clare’s lifestyle is suited to people who wish to enjoy the benefits of independent living, a caring community and world-class amenities and services.
Construction is almost complete, our first residents move in December 2025. 
Right now! An actual residence has been completed so you can examine the fixtures and finishes, while you view the floorplans, aspect and views that suit your preferences.
You are of course allowed to have guests stay overnight. However, for security purposes you are asked to let management know if someone is staying in your residence
Yes, subject to prior approval from management and compliance with the pet policy.
Yes, each two-bedroom residence is allocated exclusive use of one car park and three-bedroom and penthouse residences are allocated two car parks. The car parks are in the secure underground car park that connects you with a lift to your level, giving you easy and secure access to your residence.
 
Each residence is provided with one personal storage unit, that is also located in the basement, near the car park.
 
St. Clare is developed with the capability to charge electric vehicles and can be installed into resident’s car parks at a cost.

While we’ve been around for over a century, we’re always moving forward. Proceeds from St. Clare contribute to important mission work, such as the development of affordable homes, specialist disability accommodation and services for the elderly and marginalised.
Staff are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day (onsite on-call). There is also a 24 hour emergency call service, to give you and your family peace of mind.
